This is a vintage 1970s Tonalá Mexican pottery vase set, hand painted in the traditional folk-art style associated with the Tonalá region of Jalisco. The larger vase features a stylized bird design, and both pieces include classic Tonalá floral motifs in deep blue, brown, white, and green. Each vase is marked "Mexico."
The larger vase measures 8.5 inches tall, and the smaller vase measures 4 inches tall. Both are in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks and display beautifully.
A wonderful pair for collectors of Tonalá, Mexican folk art, or rustic décor.
