The A-2 deck jacket was officially adopted by the U.S. Navy as a cold weather jacket for shipboard work, replacing the N-1. It was produced and issued for approximately 30 years from the 1960s.
This jacket, meticulously reproduced in Japan, features the characteristic early-type detail of a triangular flap on the chest pocket, and uses cotton satin that allows for enjoyable aging. It has also been given a product wash to recreate the look of a jacket that has been worn for many years.
